Welcome to the
We are generating and storing emission-free renewable energy for the Rupertiwinkel region by accessing the geothermal energy resources lying deep beneath our feet. In doing so, GTR is making a significant contribution to the supply of heating, cooling and electricity generation, supporting the green energy transition of the Rupertiwinkel region.
Geothermal energy is a secure and renewable energy source. It’s available around the clock, regardless of the weather and is immune to external events and energy market price fluctuations. This helps to make meeting our energy requirements more secure, more sustainable, and environmentally friendly.
As a Bavarian company, the support of our local community is of great importance to GTR.
The Green Energy Hub project is being implemented with the involvement of local companies and in close coordination with the Municipality of Kirchanschöring.
